This dress was made in 1947 after our now Queen Elizabeth, married Prince Philip. It copies the cut of the dress with its fitted bodice, heart-shaped neckline and low v-pointed waist. The Lily of the Valley motif echoing the flowers in Elizabeth's bouquet.
The story goes that the lady who was to wear this dress couldn't afford a wedding dress, so her mum went and brought this dress for her.
